Woda App Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
We respect your privacy. This document explains what data the Woda app and the woda.ideana.io website process, and what rights you have.
1. The short version
- Woda does not require you to create an account.
- Your daily goal, your water logs and your reminder settings are stored only on your device.
- We do not send this data to our servers and we have no access to it.
- There are no ads or tracking tools in the app.
2. Data controller
The app is created and published by Zhora Babakhanyan (“we”). The app does not require registration or sign-in and does not collect your personal data. The only data we may process is the content of the correspondence you choose to send us. For privacy matters, write to us at contact@ideana.io.
3. What data the app stores
To work, the app stores the following on your device:
- your daily water goal,
- your water logs (amount and time),
- your reminder settings and app preferences.
This data stays on your iPhone. We do not link it to your identity and we do not share it with anyone.
4. Reminders
Reminders are local notifications — they are created and shown by iOS on your device. You can change your notification permission at any time: Settings → Notifications → Woda.
5. Backups
If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup, the app’s data may be included in it according to your device settings and Apple’s rules. We have no access to those backups.
6. Deleting your data
Because the data is stored only on your device, you delete it by deleting the app.
7. App Store and Apple
You download the app from the App Store. Data related to the download and to payments (including the Woda Plus subscription) is processed by Apple under its own privacy policy. Apple may share aggregated, anonymous statistics with us (for example the number of downloads) and crash reports — only if you agree to share them with app developers in your iPhone settings.
8. Contacting us
When you write to contact@ideana.io, we process your e-mail address and the content of your message solely to reply to your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and any potential claims.
9. The woda.ideana.io website
The website does not use cookies or analytics tools. Hosting and infrastructure providers (Vercel Inc. and Cloudflare, Inc.) may automatically record standard technical logs, such as IP address, date of visit and browser type — to keep the site secure and running.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. To exercise these rights, write to contact@ideana.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
11. Children
The app does not collect data that could identify a user, including children.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page. We will announce significant changes in the app or on this page.
